General Terms and Conditions for one day activities:

• Before participating in any kayaking activity, the client has the full responsibility and obligation to declare any medical conditions, both current & previous. These include stages of pregnancy, cardiovascular disease and others diseases. Also to be declared are any current medication that might affect their ability to react. This also includes alcohol / drug use. To participate in aquatic activities it is essential to know how to swim. The minimum age to participate in any activity is specified in the itinerary for each trip. Children under the age 18 must have permission or be accompanied by parent or guardian.                                      Weight must be less than 110 kg and height maximum 2 mts.
• The activities offered are dependent on weather and environment conditions and can be subject to changes before or during the activity. In the case of a cancellation the customer has the option to postpone the activity or get a refund.
• We reserve the right to postpone or cancel an activity, until the last moment, if the marine or weather forecast does not allow the realization of the planned activity in complete safety.
• We reserve the right to postpone or cancel an activity due to indisposition of the guide.
• The guide reserves the right to decide if, during the first 100 meters of the excursion, a person can not carry out the activity due to any physical or technical difficulty. The guide will decide if this person can go ahead or must return, without the possibility of money refund.
• The guide reserves the right to go back on the excursion, once started, due to bad weather conditions in which the return of money is not contemplated.
• We reserve the right of not returning the booking money in the event that the guide has to make an urgent rescue.
• Customers must provide their own transportation to the meeting point of a booked trip. KEM then takes responsibility from the meeting point & throughout the excursion.
• The price includes all the necessary gear. Equipment is specified in each trip itinerary
• Rates are stated as per person, along with the minimum persons required for each specific activity and include the relevant booked service by KEM. VAT is included.
• The price includes the insurance required by law. Accident insurance & liability. Policy number 84131839. This contract is with AXA insurance.
• To confirm a booking the customer must pay in advance 50% of the total price.
• The customer has the option to  cancel the activity with a right to a full refund if the following conditions are respected:                                                                                                      -     - Cancellation must be confirmed at least 72 hours before the start of the KEM activity           - If a cancellation is made within 72 hours from the start of the activity then no refund can be  made.                                                                                                                                                              - In the event that the customer does not appear during the confirmed activity date or time indicated by KEM then the customer must pay the full amount due for the pre-booked activity.
• When confirming the booking by making a payment implies the full acceptance of our terms and conditions. If a person confirms a booking on another person’s behalf then they themselves assume total responsibility regarding the general terms & conditions of KEM.
